New Traffic Signal Construction - Updated May 7, 2025
Tuesday May 6 through Thursday May 8, the median will be closed for paving the center crossover and turn lanes. Please continue to follow detour signs and cones.
DO NOT MOVE THE CONES or drive between cones that have been moved to allow temporary access. Alto will move the cones off the pavement when access is allowed.
*Phase 2 (date TBD) will include entrance closures overnight when they are paving the westbound lanes of 54. This will occur between *8pm and *5am and should be completed by the end of the month. We will keep you posted of any schedule updates.
The actual traffic lights are scheduled for the first week of June and will operate in flash mode for a few weeks before being implemented in normal operation.
Please drive carefully through the neighborhood and on Wilson Road to preserve the dirt road for our continued use.

Many trades are contracted as a part of this overall project, so the schedule is completely up to the current vendor and where they are in construction. As they go back and forth working on both sides of SR54, they are only closing the entrance as necessary, please have patience and ALWAYS obey the Cone Zones.

The back entrance to the neighborhood on Wilson Road will be open for the duration of the project. Pasco County Fire Rescue insisted we cannot close the back gate at any time. We must leave it open for public safety for the duration of the project. Regardless of the presence of workers or if there's enough room to squeeze through, when cones are on the road, DO NOT ENTER!

- Visitor & Vendors - Please inform your visitors and vendors of the project schedule and neighborhood access.
- School Transportation - Pasco County Schools has been notified and is being updated with changes.
- Emergencies - Emergency services will be permitted to enter the closed area.
- Deliveries - The HOA has notified common services (USPS, Waste Connections, Fedex, UPS) of the project and closures.
