Cellgate Tips and Tricks
Quick Reminders for Resident Lane
Important Reminder for Visitors
🔑 Important Entry Reminder: No Screenshots!
Please remind your visitors that they should never use a screenshot of a QR code to enter. Because Cellgate generates a fresh security code for every use, a screenshot will only work once (if at all). Guests must scan the code directly from the live link in their text or email.
🏠 For Household Members: 24/7 Access
To avoid entry delays for your family, please create a "QR Recurring Visitor Pass" for every smartphone owner in your household.
The Right Way to "Save" Your Pass: To keep your pass handy without using a broken screenshot, use the "Add to Apple Wallet" or "Add to Google Wallet" button found directly under your QR code link.
🚚 Vendor Gate Access: Important Instructions
To help your contractors (roofing, sod, construction, etc.) get on-site without delays, please provide them with the following access rules.
Operating the Elevated Keypad
Drivers in large trucks use the high-profile keypad. Please emphasize to your drivers that our gate does not trigger automatically after the last number.
Early Arrivals: The code will not work before 7:00 AM.

Quick Reminders for Resident Lane
- Never pass the resident lane exit; this ensures you will NEVER need to reverse. You do not need to "creep" up to the arm to open it.
- DO NOT TAILGATE. Leave at least 2–3 car lengths behind the vehicle in front of you. Damage due to tailgating will be billed to the responsible vehicle owner.
- Please do not touch or attempt to reset the gate arms or readers, as this can cause damage.

- Easy Access: You can pull it up instantly (like a boarding pass or credit card) without searching through old texts or emails.
- Always Works: The Wallet ensures you are always showing a current, valid code to the gate reader.
